Eye4Art: Call for Submissions
Eye4Art is an annual juried exhibition celebrating artists with connections to Chatham-Kent.
Exhibition Dates:
October 21, 2026 – January 31, 2027

75 William Street N, Chatham, ON
Artists working in a variety of media and techniques such as conceptual art, performance, storytelling, poetry, dance, music, textiles, fashion design & beyond are encouraged to apply!
Open to artists with a connection to Chatham-Kent.*
All media accepted.
Work must be completed within the last 2 years.
All artwork must be available for sale and include price.
Performance and conceptual artists without physical works in the space are encouraged to share an hourly/day rate for their hired services.
* Not open to current municipal staff.
Artists may submit up to two works for entry into Eye4Art 2026.
No more than 2 images per entry for example:
2D work: one full, one detail
3D work: 2 different perspectives
Video or performance work: 2 different videos (30 seconds MAXIMUM)
Performance work including previous performance shots (if applicable), image of performer/costume/set (if applicable), conceptual layout and sketch (if applicable)
Images should be in .pdf, .png, .jpg, .jpeg, or .tiff. Images should not exceed 2MB per file.
Images must be named with the appropriate information in the following format "Artist Name_Artwork Title_Image Number".
Please note that incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Artists will be notified of the jury’s decision by no later than September 25, 2026. Notice of decision will be sent by email.

Works can be dropped off October 9-11, and 13, 2026, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, to Studio One, inside the Chatham Cultural Centre, 75 William St. N. Chatham, ON.
Please note: the Chatham Cultural Centre will be closed for Thanksgiving on October 12, 2026. Works cannot be received on this date.
If shipping your work, please aim to have it arrive during the drop-off window.
When preparing to drop-off or ship your accepted work, please ensure that artwork is ready to display.
2D work must be framed and wired.
Instructions or diagrams should be provided for installation works.
Performing and conceptual artists whose work is accepted will be required to showcase or perform their work at a time agreed upon with the Exhibitor at the Thames Art Gallery during open hours.
Artists are responsible for all costs related totransportation and shipping of works, including insurance. Artwork is insured while on gallery premises.

Join us at the Thames Art Gallery on October 23, 2026, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm for the Opening Reception. Monetary awards will be presented during the reception. More details to be announced.

The Thames Art Gallery will collect 30% from all sales of works exhibited during Eye4Art 2026.

Works can be collected February 1-4, 2027, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, at the Thames Art Gallery, inside the Chatham Cultural Centre, 75 William St. N. Chatham, ON.
Please note that Arts & Culture staff will not pack up works to be shipped. Works must be collected during the pick-up window. Artists who cannot collect their works during this window, should make arrangements to have their works picked up.
Please note that after the pick-up window outlined above has passed, CK Arts & Culture will have the sole discretion to make any arrangements necessary, including disposal, for any works remaining at Thames Art Gallery.
