Hand-building with Clay

Create your own tableware such as, mugs, plates, decorative vessels, or sculpture - the possibilities are endless! Master the art of clay hand-building and the techniques of pinching, coiling, and slab rolling. Includes one sleeve of Cone 6 clay (22lbs) glazes, underglazes and firings. 8 sessions. Instructed by Jackie Dean-Couture.

Beginner Wheel Pottery

Learn the basics. Centering, throwing cylinders and bowls, attaching handles and simple glazing - all you need to know to make your own pottery! Intermediate Wheel Pottery

Intermediate Wheel Pottery

Move beyond creating basic cylinders to a range of dynamic forms on the wheel. Develop your technical skills as you throw pots of your own design! Participants need basic wheel throwing skills. Drawing 101

Enjoy the art of drawing while building skill and confidence in your abilities! Begin with contour drawing, then advance to the study of light and shadow with still life. Participants will work with pencil, conté, and charcoal. Materials provided.

Master Forger Painting Classes

After School Arts

Express yourself at the After School Arts Hub, drawing, painting, printmaking and working with clay. All materials supplied. Please bring a paint shirt or wear old clothes to the art class. This class is for children ages 7 years and up.
